Will I still be able to control my water heater manually (or with the Hilo app)?

Yes, you can still control your water heater manually or through the Hilo mobile app.

However, we recommend keeping it on unless you’re going to be away for an extended period. Turning it off could:

  • Lead to a lack of water water when you need it
  • Impact the safety and cleanliness of your hot water
