Membership in the Hilo smart home service requires a commitment to participate in Hilo challenges for a period of 36 months.
This offer is exclusive, without fees, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged and has no monetary value. The offer provides up to two free thermostats and gives a $100 bonus upon joining the Hilo smart home service. The $100 bonus will be added to the total amount of the rewards earned by the customer during their participation in Hilo challenges and will be paid during the next reward disbursement.
For memberships dated before or as of March 31, 2023, inclusively, the payment of the bonus will be included in the reward disbursement for the 2022-2023 challenge season, that being in the spring of 2023.
For memberships dated between April 1 and July 31, 2023, the payment of the bonus will be included in the reward disbursement for the 2023-2024 challenge season, that being in the spring of 2024.
For the “up to two free thermostats” offer, up to two thermostats are offered free of charge upon joining Hilo with free installation by a certified electrician, with a credit balance of $70 per thermostat, with free installation.
The credit balance of $70 per thermostat represents a discount that corresponds to the cost of the thermostats. A customer who terminates their membership before the end of the 36-month commitment must pay the remaining balance calculated on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the months already elapsed. This discount and the $100 bonus cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion, can only be applied to a single order, cannot be used more than once per address and per Hydro-Québec account number and are considered to be used once the order is submitted.
This offer is not transferable, cannot be sold or exchanged, has no monetary value and can be modified without prior notice.
