1 Financial assistance is offered to eligible Hilo program participants who agree to the terms of the financial assistance program. To qualify, participants must connect a compatible smart device to the Hilo app and commit to participating in Hilo challenges for a period of 12 months. Financial assistance will be paid to the customer within a few weeks of their devices being connected to Hilo and the acceptance of the financial assistance agreement. Note that financial assistance is only provided once per eligible connected device. The financial assistance is $105 for each connected Sinopé Calypso Zigbee water heater controller, $125 for each connected Sinopé Calypso Wi-Fi water heater controller, and $150 per Sinopé low-voltage thermostat or $110 baseboard thermostat or $210 per thermostat for radiant floor heating, up to a maximum of $2,650. The number of compatible connected devices eligible for financial assistance is limited. For more details, please refer to the financial assistance program. The financial assistance program may be modified or canceled at any time without notice.

Once the hub is installed, download the Hilo mobile app and follow our guide to pair your devices with Hilo.
During challenges, compatible devices connected to Hilo help you save energy and earn cash rewards, just like Hilo devices do.
At the end of each challenge period, you'll receive the rewards you've accumulated throughout the season. Bonuses will be issued within a few weeks of your compatible device(s) being connected to Hilo.
You can combine compatible devices with Hilo products to take part in the reduction challenges. If you have Honeywell Home, Mysa, or Sinopé thermostats, check their compatibility and connect them to the Hilo app to maximize your challenge rewards.

Other devices which were not tested by Hilo could be compatible with the app.
For example, a maximum of 10 dimmers can be paired with your hub. If you select eight dimmers as part of your Large Home package, your order will automatically be limited to two additional dimmers so that you don’t exceed the limit.

Do you use Hilo-compatible smart thermostats from Honeywell Home, Mysa, or Sinopé? While scene customization isn’t available for these devices yet, we’re actively working to introduce this feature so you can create personalized scenes.
