Procedure for pairing a smart switch

When you notice that a smart switch is no longer paired with the gateway, follow the steps below to pair it again.

  1. If you can still see the smart switch in the app, touch the corresponding tile and then the little wheel in the top right-hand corner of the device screen. Select “Delete device” at the bottom of the Settings screen. Refresh the screen by swiping your finger downward from the top of the page. The device should disappear.

  2. Restart the gateway by clicking on the button located at the far right on the front of the gateway. Then, wait for the two indicator lights to the right of the Ethernet cable to turn green and stop blinking.

  3. Put the gateway in pairing mode by pressing B1 (the second button from the right, with a link icon). The gateway’s L3 indicator light (the second to the right of the Ethernet cable) will blink blue.

  4. Press the top of the switch button 10 times. The indicator light at the bottom of the switch will blink blue three times. The smart switch will be paired with the gateway when the indicator light stops blinking. 

  5. Wait about 15 seconds and refresh the Devices screen until you see the smart switch tile appear.

If you have any trouble pairing your device, restart the gateway by clicking on the button located at the far right on the front of the gateway. Then, wait for the two indicator lights to the right of the Ethernet cable to turn green and stop blinking. Follow the instructions above to try to pair the device again.
