Hilo challenges

I was hot during the last challenge. What should I do?

You can personalize every Hilo challenge you participate in. If your home got too warm during the last challenge, for the next one, don’t choose the preheat setting or exclude some rooms. You can also use the Intrepid setting.

How? Let Hilo walk you through the steps:

  • Adjust your settings for a morning Hilo challenge (optional preheating phase from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., reduction phase from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.)
  • Adjust your settings for an evening Hilo challenge (optional preheating phase from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., reduction phase from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

The recovery phase happens from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for a morning challenge and 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. for an evening challenge. You have nothing to configure for this phase.
