I’m moving. What happens to my Hilo devices and Agreement?

If you’re moving, you must notify Hilo customer service at least 30 days before your planned moving date. We’ll review the available options with you so you can continue enjoying the Hilo service in your new home.

Hilo devices

Hilo smart devices must remain installed at your current address.

Your Participant Agreement

If you’d like to continue using the Hilo service in your new home, customer service will go over the available options with you.

Otherwise, you can terminate your agreement. If the 12-month period following the signing of the Participant Agreement has not ended, you may be required to repay the remaining credit balance (equivalent to the number of months remaining under the Agreement). It may also be possible to transfer your agreement to the person moving into your former residence, subject to certain conditions.

In all cases, you remain responsible to Hilo for all obligations under the Agreement until a solution is mutually accepted. A processing fee may apply (as of April 2026, this fee is set at $50 + taxes).
