Do I need to have an electric radiant floor heating system installed before I can add the Hilo smart thermostat for electric floor heating to my order?

Yes. A radiant floor heating system needs to be installed and ready for connection in advance of the installation appointment date.

You do not need to have an existing thermostat for radiant flooring before the installation appointment. If you do have a radiant flooring thermostat installed at the time of the appointment, the master electrician will remove it in order to install your Hilo smart thermostat for electric floor heating.

If the radiant flooring system isn’t ready to be connected, the master electrician will not be able to install the thermostat for floor heating during the installation appointment and a new installation date will need to be scheduled. Additional fees may apply if a new installation date is required.
