The averages are based on estimated savings observed under a scenario of 84 hours or 21 peak demand events and attributed to each category of connected devices supported by Hilo (data to be validated in summer 2026). Calculations are based on Rate Flex D prices in effect during that season. Potential savings represent the difference between Rate Flex D and Rate D (the base rate), including applicable taxes. Actual savings may vary depending on the combination of connected devices, home or vehicle characteristics (if applicable), energy use or charging habits, peak event participation rate, and weather conditions.
