When you add your compatible smart devices to the Hilo app, you’ll receive a cash bonus of up to $210¹ per device. And that’s on top of the savings you’ll see on your electricity bill with Hilo and Rate Flex D!
1 Financial assistance is offered to Hilo participants who meet and accept the terms of the financial assistance program. To qualify, participants must add all eligible connected devices to the Hilo app and commit to participate in automation during peak demand events for a 12-month period. Financial assistance will be issued to the client within a few weeks after their devices are connected to Hilo and the financial assistance agreement is accepted. Financial assistance is issued only once per eligible connected device. The number of devices eligible for financial assistance is limited. For more details, see the financial assistance program. The financial assistance program may be modified or terminated at any time without prior notice.

Other devices which were not tested by Hilo could be compatible with the app.
There is a limit to the number of some devices that can be paired with the Hilo Hub, regardless of whether they are purchased from Hilo. This explains why you can only add a certain number of these devices to your shopping cart, including those that are offered as a bonus with your package and those that you decide to add on your own.
For example, a maximum of 10 dimmers can be paired with your hub. If you select eight dimmers as part of your Large Home package, your order will automatically be limited to two additional dimmers so that you don’t exceed the limit.

According to clauses 6.1 and 6.2 of the General Sales and Installation Conditions Agreement:
- Hilo-branded connected devices are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for three years;
- Non-Hilo connected devices are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Participants should consult the instruction manual or technical data sheet for these connected devices and products on hiloenergie.com.
It’s a solution that allows owners of compatible charging stations to automatically participate in peak events.
With Hilo’s EV charging solution, you won’t have to worry about remembering the start and end times of each peak event, or risk forgetting to unplug or replug your vehicle. Your charging time will be optimized, along with your potential savings.
