Do I need to contact notify both Hilo and Hydro-Québec before my move?

Yes, it’s your responsibility to notify both Hydro-Québec and Hilo ahead of your move.

You should inform Hydro-Québec as soon as your move is planned). This can be done online through your Customer Space or by contacting their customer service team.

You must also notify Hilo customer service at least 30 days before your scheduled move to terminate your agreement. Hilo will then suggest possible solutions for your new home.
