To be eligible for the Hilo service, you must meet the following basic requirements: Have a residential Hydro‑Québec account (as a tenant or homeowner) Remain enrolled in Rate Flex D for the duration of the agreement Have a Hydro‑Québec smart meter Have access to high-speed internet (at least 5 Mbps), a home Wi-Fi network, and an available Ethernet port on your modem or router Have a smartphone or other mobile device capable of downloading and using the Hilo app Live in a city where Hilo’s smart home service (alt: the Hilo service) is available Live in a home with equipment that is compatible with Hilo Check my eligibility
