I’m not receiving peak event notifications on my Android phone. How can I fix this?
To receive notifications, make sure the Hilo app is allowed to run in the background. Here’s a general process that works for many Android models (note that menu names may vary slightly depending on your device):
First, check notification settings
Open your phone’s Settings.
Tap Apps, then select Hilo.
Make sure Notifications are enabled.
Then, allow background activity
Still in Settings, go to Battery and device care.
Tap Battery, then Background usage limits (or simply Limits).
Ensure Hilo is not listed under Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps.
Add Hilo to Never sleeping apps or Unmonitored apps.
