1 Financial assistance is offered to Hilo participants who meet and accept the terms of the financial assistance program. This requires adding all eligible connected devices to the Hilo app and committing to participate in automation during peak demand events for 12 months. Financial assistance will be issued to the client in the weeks following connecting their devices to the Hilo app and accepting the agreement. Financial assistance is issued only once per eligible connected device. The number of devices eligible for financial assistance is limited. For more details, see the financial assistance program.The program may be changed or cancelled at any time without prior notice.
If you already have a Hilo hub and compatible smart thermostat(s), simply connect your device(s) via the Hilo mobile app.
Place your first order to confirm your eligibility and get the Hilo hub. Once it’s installed, download the Hilo app to connect your smart thermostats and take part in peak demand events.
Hilo can automate the management of your connected devices to help you use less energy during those periods. This can help you save up to 20% on your winter electricity bill.
For example, a maximum of 10 dimmers can be paired with your hub. If you select eight dimmers as part of your Large Home package, your order will automatically be limited to two additional dimmers so that you don’t exceed the limit.
