Why is my thermostat set to a different temperature than I expected?

If you notice that your Sinopé thermostat is set to a different temperature than expected.

For example, you wake up to find it set to 16°C instead of staying at 19°C — there’s no need to worry. In most cases, the thermostat is simply following a default schedule, which you can easily adjust.

What could be causing this temperature change

Sinopé thermostats operate in different modes (Automatic, Manual, Off, etc.).

If a default schedule is active in your Sinopé (Neviweb) app, it may apply Energy Star-recommended temperature settings automatically.

In this case, the thermostat adjusts the temperature according to the following schedule:

  • 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.: 21°C
  • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.: 16°C
  • 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.: 21°C
  • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.: 16°C

How to fix it

You can adjust your thermostat settings in just a few simple steps using the Neviweb app.
