When will I be notified about a peak event? 

You’ll be notified the day before. A notification will appear in the Hilo app — just make sure you’ve enabled notifications in your mobile device settings. 

If you’d like, you can also receive an email the day before a peak event. To enable this option in the Hilo app: 

• Tap Home in the bottom navigation bar, then tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner of the screen. 
• Tap My settings. 
• In the New peak event scheduled tile, tap the toggle. When the slider is to the right, the feature is enabled, and you’ll start receiving emails the day before each peak event. 

If two peak events are scheduled on the same day, you’ll receive two separate notifications the day before.
