The amount you’re eligible to receive is calculated based on your household’s total energy use during a peak event. To maximize your potential savings, choose Bold or Extreme mode — the greater the temperature reduction, the more you stand to gain. 

Changing a few habits can also help lower your bill — for example, by postponing your shower, EV charging, or running the dishwasher and other energy-intensive appliances. 

To further reduce your energy use, consider disabling the preheating option in rooms you won't be using during a peak event.
