1 Financial assistance is offered to eligible Hilo program participants who agree to the terms of the financial assistance program. To qualify, participants must connect a compatible smart device to the Hilo app and commit to participating in Hilo challenges for a period of 12 months. Financial assistance will be paid to the customer within a few weeks of their devices being connected to Hilo and the acceptance of the financial assistance agreement. Note that financial assistance is only provided once per eligible connected device. The financial assistance is $105 for each connected Sinopé Calypso Zigbee water heater controller, $125 for each connected Sinopé Calypso Wi-Fi water heater controller, and $150 per Sinopé low-voltage thermostat or $110 baseboard thermostat or $210 per thermostat for radiant floor heating, up to a maximum of $2,650. The number of compatible connected devices eligible for financial assistance is limited. For more details, please refer to the financial assistance program. If you already have a Hilo hub and compatible smart thermostat(s), simply connect your device(s) via the Hilo mobile app.
Place your first order to confirm your eligibility and get the Hilo hub. Once it’s installed, download the Hilo app to connect your smart thermostats and take part in the challenges.
The reward calculation is simple: Accept the automatic actions suggested by Hilo and earn a reward for every kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy you do not consume. So the less energy you consume, the more you earn. For more information on how the calculation is made, visit: here
For example, a maximum of 10 dimmers can be paired with your hub. If you select eight dimmers as part of your Large Home package, your order will automatically be limited to two additional dimmers so that you don’t exceed the limit.
