Free installation with a 12-month commitment

When you purchase Hilo thermostats for baseboards or heated floors, your first installation is free if you commit to letting Hilo manage your connected devices during peak events for 12 months. A master electrician will handle the installation and help you set up your smart thermostats. 

Installation timeline and steps  

When placing your online order, you'll be able to choose the installation date and time slot that works best for you.  

• Be sure to download the Hilo app before your appointment — you can create your account, name your smart home, and get set up in advance.  

• We’ll send you a reminder email five days before your installation date.  

• If this is your first installation, it's free of charge. For any additional visits, we’ll preauthorize your credit card up to five days before the appointment and only charge it after the installation is complete. 

Note: Installation can take between two and five hours, depending on the number of devices. 

Delivery 

Hilo thermostats aren't shipped to your home. They must be installed by a Hilo-appointed master electrician, who will bring the devices on the day of your appointment and take away (alt: collect) any that aren’t installed.
