What does the water temperature displayed in the water heater tile on the Hilo mobile app mean?

The water temperature displayed in the water heater tile of the Hilo mobile app represents the temperature of the water near the water heater outlet (the water you use at your taps, to take showers and baths, for hand washing, etc.).
