You can restore power to your water heater at any time, either in the Hilo app or directly via the water heater controller. However, if you choose to restore power to your electric water heater during a Hilo challenge, note that it will be excluded from that challenge.

This won’t count as a withdrawal, but the change could affect your chances of successfully completing the challenge.
