How can I create a scene?

From the app’s Home screen, tap “My favourite scenes” or go directly to the Scenes tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap the + in the top right corner and follow these steps:

1. Select the device(s) you want to configure.

a) You can do this by category or by room. If you do it by category, you can choose to configure all of your lights or thermostats at once by tapping Select all.

b) Configure the settings for each device, validate your selections, then tap Next.

2. Name the scene and choose an icon that best matches it, then tap Next.

3. Select the type of trigger (Manual or Scheduled), then tap Next.

a) Select Manual if you’d like to launch the scene by hand whenever you want (it will not be scheduled to trigger automatically); this will take you to the scene’s details page. You can always add another schedule to any scene at a later time.

b) Select Scheduled if you’d like the scene to be triggered automatically; this will take you to the “Scheduling the scene” page.

4. Schedule the scene (to trigger automatically).

a) Select the day(s) of the week and the time of day you want the scene to be triggered.

For time of day, you have three options:

• At a specific time. You can select any time you want.
• At sunrise. You can also set a delay of up to three hours before or after sunrise.
• At sunset. You can also set a delay of up to three hours before or after sunset.

b) Tap Next to access the scene’s details page, where you can see the tiles for your devices and the schedules associated with this scene.

Once a scene has been created, simply tap the button to launch it at any time, whether it is scheduled or not.

You can also pause or reactivate schedules on a scene-by-scene basis.
