Hilo’s smart solution for electric water heaters is offered free of charge to anyone who signs up for Hilo, receives a $105 credit, and agrees to a 12-month commitment to participate in Hilo challenges.

If you’ve already had a visit from a Hilo-appointed electrical contractor, you can still get the smart water heater solution installed by paying the applicable installation fees.
