Can I still control my water heater manually (or using the Hilo application)?

Yes, but we don’t recommend doing this, unless you will be away from your home for a long period of time, for the following reasons:

• You might not have enough hot water
• Your water heater might be excluded from a challenge (which will affect the amount of your potential rewards)
• This might affect your water’s hygiene
