The hot water outlet temperature of your water heater can be adjusted using the mixing valve found at the top of your water heater. Do not adjust the water heater temperature thermostats; these were calibrated by the plumber during installation.
Please follow these instructions to adjust the outlet temperature using the mixing valve:
A. Use the 3/32’’ Allen key provided to loosen the screw holding the mixing valve cap in place.
B. Pull the cap back about ¼ inch to adjust the temperature.
C. Turn clockwise to lower the temperature or counterclockwise to raise the temperature.
D. Return the cap to the locked position and tighten the screw.
Note: To prevent accidental temperature adjustments, always keep the cap in place and the screw tightened.
